Hey guys! So we are already at my final look from Werk Pray Slay Weekend! Get in this all black with gold details for WPS look 3! Since day 3 was the Big Hat Brunch, my outfit had to chic and classy lol! And what better way to look chic than in all black?

A lot of things made this brunch one of my favorite events of the weekend! Of course the mimosas were good lol. This brunch was by the Single Wives Club which is a community the helps prepare you to be a wife. Both the panel and speakers were all awesome. They shed light on marriage and what to expect, the importance of compromise, and listening to your partner. My absolute favorite part had to be the “Date Him or Diss Him” game. Someone would read a scenario about a guy to the room, and we would hold our cards on whether we would date the guy from the scenario or diss him lol! Although your girl is in a long term relationship, it was funny to hear everyone’s reason for why they would date or diss a guys lol!

Also, Monique CEO and founder of Mielle Organics got to share her store and experience as a fellow Werkaholic! Her story was extremely touching, and definitely hit home for me.

Now back to the fashion lol!

Since I already knew black was going to be my color for this event, instantly when I saw this skirt I knew we had a winner lol! I love the detail that the gold buttons add to this look, and also the slit for a bit of fun and edginess. You would think that finding a top for a black skirt would be a breeze, but it wasn’t. I had to search high and low for a top to go with this skirt, and then wah-lah this baby appeared. I knew I wanted the top to be fun and have some detail on the sleeves.

Lastly to accessorize, I wore a perspex with gold studs heeled sandal and a simple gold clutch. I was kind of sad that I couldn’t find a hat that I liked for this brunch. I will have will definitely have on next year!
