Hey guys! Since I honestly enjoy Halloween, but do not real like super scary things, I decided to do something different. This 80’s Halloween costume and makeup tutorial |Whitney Houston inspired look was so fun to shoot! If you know me, you know I absolutely love R&B and Whitney Houston. In my opinion, she is the Queen of R&B. Recreating this look has been on my to do list for years, and I am so happy I finally did it! And as a vintage lover, this look was a must and right up my alley lol!

If you do not already know, this look is from Whitney infamous “I want to dance with somebody” music video. Every time I watch this or even hear the song, I think about this look. First of all, I love everything about this era! The bold colorful eye shadow is reminiscent of the late 80’s/early 90’s right along with the super pink blush. As much as I like the makeup, I am in love with the fashion! During this time, being self expressive and an all around rock star was definitely in! Seems like this era is where my love for edgy pieces comes from lol! Style is meant to be self expressive, and the late 80’s and early 90’s definitely lived up to that!

As usual, a full tutorial is up on the blog with step by step instructions with everything I used. Make sure you CLICK HERE to watch it!

I have one more  Halloween look coming to the blog next week! Comment down below, and tell me what you think it might be!

And as always…until next time!
